MINUTES<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting was called to order at 6:09 PM. Present: Charles Behney, Stephen Dey, Andrew A. Foster, Robert Orlowsky, excused.<\/span><\/p>\n

OLD BUSINESS<\/span><\/p>\n

The minutes of January 20, 2022 were presented to the board. Mr. Dey made a motion to approve the minutes as written. Mr. Behney seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Dey recalled the tabled motion to obtain a line of credit. Mr. Dey made a motion for NSD to obtain a credit line. Mr. Behney seconded this motion, which then passed unanimously.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Dey reported that Ripple LLC had almost completed the installation of the new flowmeter at the WWTP lagoons. Mr. Behney mentioned the status of NSD with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEW BUSINESS<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Behney presented a nomination letter for the NSD board, which was submitted by Jesus E. Guerrero to serve as an appointed director of NSD.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Dey made a motion to accept the letter of Mr. Jesus Guerrero to serve as a director on the NSD. Mr. Behney seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Dey made a motion to accept and appoint Mr. Guerrero to the board, which was seconded by Mr. Behney.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Jesus Guerrero was unanimously accepted to the Naco Sanitary District board as an appointed director, effective immediately. <\/span><\/p>\n

PUBLIC COMMENTS<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Behney thanked the efforts of Mr. Foster in working to find another member to serve on NSD. Mr. Foster stated that Mr. Guerrero will be a great asset to the board and community.<\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 PM.<\/span><\/p>\n
